Keyboard and Mouse stop working when installing Windows 7.0

Ran into a problem the other day while installing Windows 7.0 on a new machine. Keyboard and Mouse stop working. I had put the keyboard and mouse into USB 3.0 slots. The keyboard and mouse work fine while updating the BIOS, but once the Windows installer ran they stop working. After restarting the install a couple of times ,it finally dawned on me what was going on. I put the keyboard and mouse into USB 2.0 slots and everything now worked. It seems that Windows 7.0 need drivers to support USB 3.0. So put your keyboard and mouse in USB 2.0 slots from the beginning and it will save you time.
